PROJECT

My priceless special object
Inside this reused jar sits a collection of stones. None have any monetary value, yet each one holds a very special memory. For these have been ceremonially given to me by three incredible humans: Michka, Mylu and Manu - my nieces and nephew age fourteen and nine.
One crystal came from the Himalayas via Goa, another is a piece of lava from Mount Etna Sicily, there is a shell from a South African beach, and the blue rock, a super-special one which Manu almost didn’t part with.
Every morning, as I prepare coffee, I look into this jar of jewels and it makes me smile and ready for the day.
